iPhone 4 Camera
by: brent fuchs
Two weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone 4. While I liked my 3G just fine this new phone is an incredible improvement. One of my favorite new improvements is the camera. I wouldn’t have thought it would been that big of an upgrade but I’ve been very happy with the results. However, it is a point and shoot and carries those limitations.
The picture quality has been really clear and the contrast has been noticeably improved. The auto exposure is quicker and touch to focus/expose responds faster. I am amazed how well it handles extreme close ups. Seems to focus around 3 inches. The flash is interesting, not bad, but interesting. It’s an ultra bright LED that mostly works. The LED makes more sense when you start shooting video. Which I will go over later.
Over all I’m very happy with it. I no longer feel the need to lug around my big camera for trips to the zoo with the kids anymore.

This week I photographed for the Wikert Group in Dallas, TX. Photographer Ben Winters went with me and helped out. Here is a little sample of how it went.

New Website
by: brent fuchs
I’m very excited to officially launch my newly designed website. The portfolio galleries and images are going to change but for now it’s a done deal. As you can tell it was done by T&S Webdesign. What I learned most in having them make a site is that I’m pretty a hindrance to the design process. During my second meeting with Emily she was asking me what I wanted. I responded by telling her I just wanted an awesome website. They knew the vague idea I wanted and I knew they would come up with an awesome design. Once I pulled myself out of the process it did get real awesome, real quick.
